The Sub City Chapter of the Silent Service Motorcycle Club (SSMC) Groton, CT is hosting a charity poker run.

LIVE MUSIC PERFORMED BY AZALEA DRIVE
Proceeds from this event will be going to the New London Homeless Veterans Shelter to help needy veterans in Southeastern, CT as well as Operation: Military Kids. Operation: Military Kids is a national effort to support children of service members before, during and after deployment. Their mission is to bring civilian and military communities together in a unified effort to support military children socially, emotionally and academically statewide.
Our 2014 goal is to raise over $5,000 for these organizations so that we can support our veterans and children of our military men and women in our area. The SSMC Sub City Chapter is excited and proud to be able to support these two organizations and hope you can help.
The SSMC is a non-profit organization using the 501(c)(19) status of our parent organization – the USSVI (United States Submarine Veterans, Inc). Your donation is fully tax-deductible and 100 percent of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the charities mentioned above.

You must bring the flyer with you for the club to get 15% of the proceeds - which will be used for the G.T.E. event. Please spread the word and hope to see you there! We will have raffles at the restaurant - back to school baskets, a special Bath & Body basket & a 50/50 raffle.
